Our Active Escapes are designed to provide uplifting experiences for all fitness levels.

Is this trip a suitable activity level for you?

Each trip site has its own challenges, so be sure to read about the specific locations to understand the minimum requirements for the trip.

Beginners will be offered modifications during the classes and enticing alternate activities for the more strenuous day trips.

Advanced fitness levels will be provided with opportunities to increase the intensity during classes and optional workouts for high-intensity training.

Lisa Vonnegut, CSCS

I have trained athletes from middle schoolers to octogenarians. My clients have included a triathlete training for a half Ironman; a 66-year-old running his first half-marathon; a woman with a progressive neurological disease fighting to remain ambulatory; people who have never moved, and people who never stop moving. My passion is empowering each person to find his or her maximal effort, without comparison or judgment.

Our classes are designed to enhance your FitCation experience and balance the effort for the day. While targeted at a moderate fitness level, I will offer ample opportunities to scale up or scale back to meet your individual requirements. To ensure you each receive personal attention, I will be available daily during my office hours to answer questions or troubleshoot your concerns.
